Rare and important wall map of the Rijnland region, amply decorated with a frame by Romeyn De Hooghe, which offers in medallions the names and coats of arms of the various fiefs united in 1647. This is the second edition of this map, identifiable by this frame; the first one, dated 1647 and printed in an edition of 100 copies, is of great rarity.
The copy is richly coloured and enhanced with gilding.
