(privil.), [1 (of 2)] blank f., polished cherry morocco, spine with 5 nerves, author, title and date gilt, small-ink decorated caissons, triple gilt fillet bordering the boards, double gilt fillet at the edges, inner lace, gilt edges on marbling [R. Petit] (slight rubbing at the edges of the headpieces and corners, without the last blank f.). First collective edition of Bossuet's six great funeral orations: those of Queen Henriette-Marie of France, her daughter Henriette-Anne of England, Duchess of Orleans, Queen Marie-Thérèse of Austria, Anne de Gonzague de Clèves, Princess Palatine, Chancellor Michel Le Tellier, and Louis de Bourbon, Prince de Condé.
