(index, the last one blank); 52 p., [sign. * 8, a-z 8, aa-aa 8, A-Z 8, AA-DD 8, a 8, e 8, o 8, u 2 (of 4)], contemporary soft vellum with overlaps, remains of laces, smooth and mute spine (old hole on the cover of the upper board, (old hole on front cover, light spotting on title and first few leaves of preface, rare sporadic light spotting at foot of pages; 2 limp. leaves missing at end, text complete). Compact Lyon edition printed in italics. The second part, containing "Annibalica", is preceded by a separate title page at the same address; its translation is by the novelist François Beroalde de Verville (1556-1626).
