RARE DUMMY VASE Egypt, Old Kingdom, 2700-2200 BC Pink and black granite H_ 4 cm; Diam_ 5,4 cm Small truncated cone-shaped vessel decorated on the upper plate with a central hemispherical button symbolizing the stopper of the vase (?). Provenance: Paris, private collection acquired from the gallery J.A. Mariaud de Serres in November 1998. A RARE OLD-KINGDOM RED AND BLACK GRANITE FACTICE VASE, 2700-2200 B.C. 1,6 in. High ; 2,1 in. Diam With conical shape, on top a central button symbolizing the vase stopper. Unusual and very good generale condition.
