2-seat coupe bodywork Cantilevered rear engine, 6 flat-bed engine Displacement 3,299 cm3 Power 300 hp Maximum speed 260 km/h Mileage 121,468 km Serial number WPOZZZ93ZCSOOO183/20 Of course, the Porsche 911 is no longer a household name. But it's important to specify which model we're dealing with, as the 911 family has offered so many versions, and in each version variants, in its fifty years of existence. This is a second-generation turbo. The first generation Turbo (type 930, 3 litres/260 bhp) was launched at the Paris Motor Show in September 1974 and production started in April 1975. The modifications to the production models were based on Porsche's racing experience. With the Turbo, the model preceded the experience. The Group 4 homologation requirements, which called for the production of 400 cars, were the reason for the 930 project, which led to the legendary 911 Turbo. Produced from April 1975, the Turbo combined a KKK turbocharger with the RSR's 3-litre engine in a road-going version with 260 hp and a top speed of 250 km/h. But the Turbo not only offered top speed, it was also the best-equipped and smoothest of the 911s, which allowed it to be fitted with a four-speed gearbox. It was capable of doing 0 to 160 km/h in 14 seconds. The turbo's signature puffy wings and spoiler were borrowed from the Carrera model, while the interior was by far the most luxurious ever seen on a 911. It was equipped with leather upholstery, air conditioning and electric windows. It was quickly followed by a second generation in 1978 (K-series), which increased its capacity to 3.3 litres and its power to 300 hp. The engine of the Turbo received a heat exchanger in the process. The top speed of the fastest sports car at the time was now 275 km/h. The ventilated disc brakes of the racing 917 were adopted at the same time. The most refined of the 911s maintained top performance. The 911 Turbo sold by the thousands, becoming the ultimate sports car of its time. The 3.3-litre version sold over 9,000 units. The date of the first release of this 911 Turbo was September 15, 1982. The seller bought it in June 2015 from August Classics in Ohain with 121,133 km, it now has a total of 124,000 km. It is a rare model with original sunroof. It has a very well documented history. Among the numerous invoices are those of important works done during its life (mechanics 17 000 € in 2005, bodywork 12 000 € in 2010). The car is in a superb original condition, inside and out, and its mechanics have been carefully maintained. It is sold with its instruction manual, service book and the numerous invoices mentioned above.
