Blais favours unusual materials and works with discarded materials, newspapers, pieces of torn posters, on which he paints, as this collage shows. On the back, a label from the Galerie Yvon Lambert, attesting to a purchase from a prestigious gallery that has bet on the greatest artists of the 20th century: Sol LeWitt, Cy Twombly, Christo and Daniel Buren.
