NOTES:
A talented lighting designer from the 1950s, René Mathieu saw his work rewarded with numerous private commissions, including the creation of projects in the luxury hotel industry. The success of this designer is undeniable, and his lamps are still in great demand among galleries and interior designers. The reasons? Very modern and pure lines, a certain functionalism of his models - here, the diabolo wall lamp allows a double lighting - and a 50's style which brings color and style in the contemporary interiors.
