Jacques CHARRIER (born in 1936). Mixed media on paper stylizing an elephant. Framed under plexiglas. Size : 28,5 x 20 cm. 43 x 33 cm with frame. (scratches in the plexiglas). Jacques Charrier French actor, producer and painter was the spouse of Brigitte Bardot. The figure of the swordsman is one of his main subjects of inspiration for his artistic production. He writes about it: "The elephant is a strange and intelligent creature, whose spirit of cohesion is very close to ours. Perhaps that is why this giant has always fascinated man, arousing his sympathy as well as his respect."
