This satirical poster is about Henriette Caillaux, wife of Joseph Caillaux, Minister of Finance in the Doumergue government. She is known for having murdered the journalist Gaston Calmette, director of the daily newspaper Le Figaro, on March 16, 1914, and was acquitted by the court.
