Literature: Pauline Agius, British Furniture 1880-1915, Antique Collectors’ Club, 1978, p.120, (a washstand and dressing table are illustrated with the same inlay). Pauline Agius shows some of the items that Punnett’s name appears with in the Birch design and costings books in 1901, in the months October and November, and says that it is unclear whether he designed them all or perhaps some references may have occurred because he costed them.
