An English Opalescent glass hanging light, probably Stourbridge, with brass mounts
c.1900
The glass shade moulded with briar and having a pentagonal flared rim, supported from an openwork collar and brass column, with light fitments, chain and ceiling rose
Shade 14 cm high
The neck of the shade that sits in the brass mounts has some small chips and a few nicks and nibbles all of which are concealed by the brass mounts. The metal elements have natural wear and tarnishing in keeping with age and could do with a polish.
Electrical components have not been tested, and should be examined by a qualified electrician prior to any intended use. Re-wiring may/will be needed.
