Very nice proof on ivory laid paper, from an intermediate state between the 3rd and the 4th (of 4) according to Rouir, with the drypoint remarks, before the copper reduction, signed in pencil. Slight oxidation of the folio. Oblique broken fold in the lower left corner. Small brown spots and foxing at the margins. Traces of glue on the reverse. All margins. Unidentified collector's mark (Rouir 61; Lugt not described).
