4 vol. gr. in-8, brown calf, spine ribbed, [contemporary binding], spalls, corners dulled, some small leather grafts.
Edition illustrated with 33 plates (one folded) of very fine figures of anatomy, dissection, etc. out of text and numerous figures in the text, all finely engraved on copper.
Fourth (1st vol.), third (2nd vol.) and first (vol. 3 and 4) editions.
Handwritten bookplate on the first white endpaper. Some light foxing; slight light wetness at the head of a few pages of the third volume.
Rare and good set, complete with the four volumes, rarely united, and the plates.

Wet stamp Charreau, handwritten ex-libris on the title pages. Some light foxing or spotting.
