BALZAC (Jean Louis Guez de) Les Œuvres diverses Paris, P. Rocolet, 1645. In-8, half brown basane, ivory vellum boards, spine ribbed and decorated with gilt designs, ochre title-piece (period). Freckles, spotting at the head affecting the first few pages, title leaf cut at the head (with slight damage to the text). Binding rubbed, stained, with large vellum gap on upper board, snags on headpieces.
