Amsterdam, Jean Jansson, 1626; in32 elongated (108 x 55 mm) with 116 pages, bound in 18th century red morocco, wide gilt lace on the boards with iron with a bird's head turned to the right, spine decorated with gilt motifs, inner lace and gilt edges. Edition printed in the Netherlands in small type. Copper engraved title-frontispiece in the form of a portico. BEAUTIFUL LACE BINDING IN THE STYLE AND QUALITY OF THAT OF DEROME THE YOUNG, except that the bird which participates in the decoration of the lace has here the head turned to the right whereas with Derome it is turned to the left.
