Book box in the shape of a book. The upper plate, in a double frame of checkerboard nets and twisted ribbon, is decorated with a fine marquetry representing a sailboat in a port and lit by a sun. The other dish, in the same frame, is decorated with musical instruments and garlands of flowers. The interior is decorated with a mirror and has three compartments, one of which is decorated with a checkerboard and tinted green. 19th century. 15,8 x 10 x 2,5 cm Wear Bibliography : Reproduced in de Caunes.
