:
Drawn in 1910 by Mathurin Méheut, the lobster knocker project was never transposed into a sculpture during the famous designer's lifetime. It was not until the year 2000 that one of his descendants, André Jude, a sculptor, made a three-dimensional work of art of it, and then published bronze prints (in a very small number of copies) executed by the art foundry of Serge Cordy, now deceased.
