MANUSCRIT autograph signed, [Henri Ghéon]; 6 pages in-4.
Homage to Henri GHÉON published in the number 95 of
La Revue Fédéraliste devoted to Henri Ghéon in January 1927. Ghéon "found himself only by finding God. [...] Here is a man to whom the yoke of the Lord has given freedom! Ease, facility, playfulness". Maritain evokes this so varied work, and in particular his theatre, and ends by saying his "admiration not only for the poet but also for the Christian" whose "all forces from now on are turned towards God alone".
An autograph poem signed by Louis MERCIER,
L'Agonie au jardin (2 p. in-8), and 2 L.A.S. from Jules Massenet (wetnesses)
are enclosed.
