PARIS. Pewter pitcher, with shoulder, foot in high plinth, straight goblet and poucier with moulded crest. Marking : 1° - Gauge : arms of Paris / 1732. 2° - Control to the nave (badly affixed). 3° - Marked by Pierre Servais CAGNY received master in 1784: hammer topped by a bird / (P).S.C / P. Late 18th century. Good condition, some scratches are reported. Note that the 1732 gauge is still used at the end of the century. Bibliography : " Etains de Paris " by Ph. Boucaud and M. Schonn.
