PARIS. Beautiful pewter bowl with console ears and mamelonned lid with daisy grip, engraved in full with birds, friezes of stylized motifs and a gentleman. Hallmark "à la nef". Louis' hallmark received master in 1777: 1° - L.C / passion nails. 2°- saint character / fine tin / L.CHARASSE / 1777. End of the XVIIIth century. Contrary to the cast models, the engravings are "unique" - Very good condition, some pitting at the bottom of the bowl are however reported. Length : 29,9 cm.
