Etruscan style yellow gold, with a swivelling scarab and carved carnelian in a twisted and pearled gold wire setting, the back engraved with a roman character standing on a galley, the wrist with a matching decoration bearing the latin inscription "salve" meaning "hello" (accident inside the wrist). Late 19th century work. Marked by the jeweler illegible.
