Very rare stainless steel chronograph with Paul Newman Mark 1 Panda dial and bracelet. Signed Rolex Oyster Cosmograph. Paul Newman model, ref. 6263, case number 2648473, circa 1970. manual winding movement, cal. 727. white dial, square numerals with luminous accents, luminous hands. Three black sub-dials. Stainless steel case, black bezel. Screw-in case back, case back inside marked C.R.S. 6239. Diameter 37.5 mm. Rolex Oyster bracelet with folding clasp, marked 7835 19 and 4 70 and at lugs 271. Length approx. 18 cm (bracelet only). Provenance: Entrepreneurial family of southwest Germany. From first hand. Acquired ca. 1970/71 at Juwelier Krause, Westerland, Sylt. Condition: Very good, revised condition. Two revisions at jeweler Krause. Last revision 2006 by Rolex Cologne with replacement of movement parts and bezel, luminous accents, crystal, pushers, crown, barrel, hands, gaskets. Water resistance tested 2021.
