A LARGE PORCELAIN EASTER EGG Russian, St. Petersburg, Imperial Porcelain Manufactory, mid 19th century The ovoid body centring an oval panel depicting Christ crowned with thorns within a gilt ciselé frame, the blue reverse with ciselé foliate motifs. The front panel signed with Cyrillic initials 'a.d.'. Minimally worn. 10.5 cm high. LARGE EASTER EYE WITH THE THORN-CROWNED CHRIST Russia, Imperial Porcelain Manufactory St. Petersburg, mid 19th century. Porcelain, polychrome onglaze decoration, gilding, partly erased. H. 10,5 cm. Monogrammed 'a.d.' on the right side. On the back symmetrical laurel leaf motifs etched in gold on blue background. Min. rubbed.
