Pretty edition printed in Richelieu's microscopic typeface, to which three spiritual treatises printed in the same typeface in 1662 have been added.
A frontispiece drawn and engraved by François Chauveau opens the Spiritual Warfare of Scupoli. It was formerly colored.
A finely bound and lined copy by Luc-Antoine Boyet.
The roulette wheel decorating the plates and the lining is reproduced in the inventory of Boyet's gilder's irons drawn up by Isabelle de Conihout and Pascal Ract-Madoux (Masterpieces of the Musée Condé, 2002, p. 110, E iron).

New edition of the translation by Antoine Lemaistre and Nicolas Le Tourneux, decorated with a frontispiece engraved by Gissey after J.-B. de Champaigne. Minor rubbing at the binding, small scattered freckles.
