This edition of the works of the Irish physicist and chemist Robert Boyle (1627-1691) gathers twelve treatises under special pagination, which were published in eight parts which were sold together or separately.
These parts are respectively entitled: Nova experimenta physico-mechanica de vi aëris elastica. - Paradoxa hydrostatica. - Tentamina quædam physiologica. - Chymista scepticus vel dubia and paradoxa chymico-physica. - Experimenta et considerationes de coloribus. - Introductio ad historiam qualitatum particularium. - Exercises of atmosphæris corporum consistentium. - Specimen of gemmarum origin and virtutibus.
The set contains four fold-out plates and one out of text, engraved on copper.
