A silver covered ewer and its display stand, the rims moulded with fillets; the triangular ears chiselled and openworked with fillets and foliage; the doucine lid girdled with a frieze of flowers and foliage, surmounted by the artichoke-shaped handle; the display stand with five contours, chiselled with a flowery garland alternated with shells.
Master goldsmith's mark Louis II SAMSON, received in 1724.
