Silver tulip kettle, standing on a pedestal with gadroon mouldings, girdled at mid-body with fillets, the decoration engraved later with flowers and foliage.
Under the bottom:
Master silversmith's mark attributed to Daniel II MAISTRE (1658-1726).
Nîmes, 1723-1724.
On the edge of the pedestal, added later, load and discharge marks: Montpellier, 1768-1775 (modifications).
