Pair of small six-leaf folding screens Japan, ca 19° century Ink, coloured pigments on silk. 50,5 x 34 cm x 6 leaves Decorations of pagodas and other buildings on mountains. One of them is a snowy landscape. Also painted with simpler landscapes on the reverse. Old small accidents and wear and tear. They are preserved in their original wooden box. Provenance: Compagnie de la Chine et des Indes (Paris) (Inv.19594 and 19595 Acquired in Tokyo in 1965)
