On the reverse, the apocryphal mark "Jiayu nian zhi" in iron red. Wooden base. Diam. 18 cm. Provenance: - Albert Armand Pouyanne collection, n°VI/211, probably 1st sale, 20/21 December 1933, lot 195 - sale of the collection of Doctor Maurin, Paris, Ader Picard Tajan, G. and T. Portier experts, 16-18 March 1987, n°85 - by descent, private collection, Châtellerault. The report of the X-ray carried out by the collector specifies: "The thinness of the biscuit, the absence of glaze, the importance of the thickness of the reds support the visibility of the enamels. The beauty of this composition is even more evident on the x-ray than on the bowl itself".
