Rural work, Burgundy, probably 16th century.
Marble, fully rounded and partly open-worked. Unusual multi-figure depiction of the taking down of the cross, on the right side two persons on horseback.
H 60 cm, W 53 cm.

Heavily weathered and repaired. Partly fragmentary preservation.
