EXTENSION TABLE WITH THE WAPPEN OF THE DE SEPIBUS FAMILY Baroque, Valais, dated 1687 and marked RD DESEPI IONES BWS CM 16 CS 87. Walnut carved with rosettes and foliage tendrils as well as the Christ monogram and coat of arms of the de Sépibus family. Rectangular, two-sided pull-out leaf on a straight frame with drawers on the sides on baluster legs with crimped feet connected by a rounded bridge. Iron mountings. 170(216) × 67 × 77 cm. Missing parts and traces of use. The coat of arms on the frame belongs to the De Sepibus family of Sion. Iones, probably Johannes de Sépibus, is not mentioned in the sources. He may have been a relative of the famous canon Jean de Sépibus, who died in 1669.
