Silk GHOUM (Iran), Shah's time, circa 1965/70. Dimensions: 165 x 107cm. Technical characteristics: Silk velvet on silk foundations. Density of 640,000 knots in one square metre.
A navy blue background decorated with turquoise poly-lobed floral cartouches, four spandrels with turquoise and parma bouquets and a central tricolour medallion in turquoise, ivory and red, set as a centrepiece surrounded by two floral vases. Parma border with polychrome flower bouquets.
