Silk GHOUM (Iran), Shah's time, circa 1975/80. Dimensions: 203 x 138cm. Technical characteristics: Silk velvet on silk foundations. Density of 640,000 knots in one square meter.
Ivory background, decorated with a poly-lobed rhombic medallion and a multitude of flowers, weeping willows, ramages and animals. Four spandrels with geometric decoration as well as the main border with flowers and lozenges surrounded by two gold counter-borders.
