KACHAN in silk (Persia), late 19th century, early 20th century. Dimensions : 195 x 123cm. Technical characteristics : Silk velvet on silk foundations. Density of 800,000 knots in one square meter. An ivory field hosts a trellis of flowering branches, decorated with multicoloured vegetalized Botehs. Two sky-blue counter borders with garlands of flowers frame the main fuchsia border with polychrome plant compositions. Old gold braid with flowers. Pleasant colour palette and beautiful graphics.
