HEREKE in silk (Turkey), circa 1975, signed. Size : 121 x 76cm. Technical characteristics : Silk velvet on silk foundations. Density of 810,000 knots in one square meter. A large ivory, oblong, cruciform medallion, with braces, rests on an old pink field, the whole being covered with flowering stems, flowers and foot vase, in a beautiful polychromy. Two floral counter-borders enclose the main one with interlacing multicoloured floral stems. Ivory braid. Signature in the upper right-hand corner.
