HEREKE in silk (Turkey), circa 1975. Dimensions: 160 x 93cm. Technical characteristics: Silk velvet on silk foundations. Density of 1,300,000 knots in one square metre. Ivory background entirely covered with polychrome radiating flower stems, enriched by four blue Nattier spandrels. Cream main border with flower foliage between six counter borders.
