Fine silk GHOUM (Iran), Shah's time, circa 1965/70. Dimensions: 156 x 114cm. Technical characteristics: Silk velvet on silk foundations. Density of 630,000 knots in one square metre. A marine field, with polychrome flower bouquets, hosts a medallion, in mandorla, polylobé and vegetalized, old gold. Two creamy counter-borders with garlands of flowers surround the main old gold, following corollas and flowers placed on polychrome plant stems.
