EXCEPTIONAL CABINET Made of ebony, ebony veneer, tortoiseshell and ivory filets
Opening with thirteen drawers and a belt drawer decorated with ebony mouldings and gilded bronze interlacing. Two central doors decorated with pilasters topped with caryatids and a pediment reveal a series of eight drawers and a theatre with seven colonettes, mirrors and a checkerboard of ebony and ivory veneer.
The upper part is topped by an openwork gallery decorated with wooden balusters. It rests on a blackened wood and tortoiseshell veneer base with gilded twisted columns made with a lathe with an off-centre point.
