On the occasion of the Universal Exhibition of 1867, Victor Hugo, then in exile in Guernsey, wrote the introduction to Paris-Guide, a work which was signed by many of the most prestigious French authors: Paul Féval, Champfleury, George Sand, Provenance : Agricol PERDIGUIER, by descent.
