Paris-Guide by the main writers and artists of France... Introduction by Victor Hugo [2 volumes] ? Brussels - Leipzig - Livorno, A. Lacroix, Verboeckhoven et Cie 1867 2 volumes. Strong in-8 20 x 12.5 cm. Cartonnages éditeur pleine percaline verte, XLIV-2135 pp., [9] pp. of autographs of the authors in facsimile, 60 off-text engravings, 7 folded maps and plans, 1 folded flying map of Paris. On the occasion of the Universal Exhibition of 1867, Victor Hugo, then in exile in Guernsey, wrote the introduction to Paris-Guide, a work which was signed by many of the most prestigious French authors: Paul Féval, Champfleury, George Sand, Provenance : Agricol PERDIGUIER, by descent.
