Henri Joseph Charles Cordier, born on November 1, 1827 in Cambrai and died on April 29, 1905 in Algiers1 , was a French sculptor.
Using a technique dating back to Roman antiquity, he used polychrome marbles such as onyx to dress his bronzes, representative of the orientalist style and the eclecticism of the Second Empire.
