HISTORICAL
The aim of Plessi's work is a constant search for poetry, an attempt to humanize technology by using it as material. His work consists in breaking down the barriers between science and art.
Water is an ancestral fact and video is a primitive element of today: the two are in perfect combination since they are fluid, mobile, unstable, and give a blue glow.
Water here is not the sea, but the infinite spirit.
PROVENANCE
Collection of Nicolas Hélion, grandson of Peggy Guggenheim, acquired in November 2001, on the occasion of the collaborations during the Venice exhibitions.
