- Letter to President Bon [first president of the Chambre des Comptes of Montpellier] asking him, on the Regent's order, to have Sieur Duval arrested. Accompanied by a memorandum entitled "Opinion of the Duke d'Antin on the Bonet affair": "My opinion is that it is irrelevant to take justice into one's own hands even when one has a judge like the King or his representative; that there is nothing worse than having the denial of the cases one undertakes. The example of my father-in-law should make us wise [...]".
