ENCLOSED: SUPPLEMENT TO THE DIARY OF THE REIGN OF HENRI IV. Slne, 1736. Two volumes bound in one volume in-12 fawn calf, spine ribbed, decorated gilt boxes, title coin, red edges (contemporary binding). Tops of the 5 volumes are flattened, with slits in the jaws, blunt corners, missing cuts, scratched mark of belonging on the title pages of the 5 volumes. ORIGINAL EDITION of the Journal with historical remarks by Lenglet Dufresnoy, and the Supplement in two volumes. Good copy, in armoured binding (weapon's piece at the end of the spine) for the 4 volumes of the Diary. Without the portrait-frontispieces which are often missing.
