In-8 long grain red morocco, gilt lace frame on the covers, smooth cloisonné and ornamented spine, green morocco bronze title piece, gilt edges (contemporary binding). Freckles, sometimes strong, small epiderminations on the first cover. FIRST EDITION. Bound in the suite :] MILITARY EVENTS BEFORE TOULOUSE, in 1814. Paris, Ridan, 1822. FIRST EDITION. A folding map engraved by Ambroise Tardieu, torn but not missing. Bound in the continuation:] MANUSCRIBED in brown ink entitled Compte Rendu des Journaux on the two preceding works. This manuscript is probably in the hand of Jean-Pierre-Marie MOREL. AUTOGRAPHIC SENDING signed at the head of the title of the first work: " A mon ami Morel ". ¶ Tulard, 837, for both works.
