MOSSI, Burkina Faso. Wood, very nice brown patina. Fertility doll "Biga'a", it evokes the child to come. Stylized representation of a female character, the cylindrical body decorated with scarification and a long braided hairstyle. 1st third of the 20th century. Height: 23.7 cm. Slight erosions.
