Set of engravings and lithographs from the 19th century mainly presenting views of landscapes, maps and cities of the Far East and other nearby regions including : Optical views of the City of Nancy, Map of Lorraine, Montmédy, Epinal, General view of the City of Metz, The city of Metz before the invasion, Headquarters of the City of Thionville, the City of Verdun, Nomény Castle, Gate of the Germans in Metz, The Cathedral of Metz, External view of the Saint Catherine Gate in Nancy, and various others. Some of them enhanced with colours. The regions and cities mainly covered by this lot are Alsace, Lorraine, Meurthe et Moselle, Les Vosges, the City of Metz, the city of Nancy and others. A set of engravings and lithographs presenting the regions of the north of France and some regions of Belgium is attached, including : Amiens, Arras, Bouillon, Ghent, Antwerp. About 300 plates. Some tears or folds for some of them, humidity stains. All as is. Dimensions at sight of : 9 x 15 to 70 x 51 cm
