The indication on the reverse could refer either to Countess Marguerite Gabrielle de Rennel (1739 - ?), daughter of Nicolas François de Rennel, who married her relative Joseph Balthazar de Rennel (1726-1795), or to Marie-Anne d'Hofflize Liégeois (? - 1730) wife of Thomas Baltazar de Rennel, of Lescut and the Empire, Chevalier, Seigneur de Bettoncourt.
