A small jewelled Israeli HaMelech Esther scroll case, fitted with megillah, the case unmarked, assumed gold, c.1960, attributed to Lucica Smilovici, the case of hexagonal form with panelled sides decorated with vertical bands of geometric scrollwork set with rubies and emeralds, the crown finial centred by a rampant lion, the case signed with Hebrew lettering engraved around the handle, the parchment with 26 lines to a column, depth 5.9cm, case length 16cm. Please note that Roseberys cannot guarantee that this scroll is kosher
