Tapestry of Flanders in wool and silk, from the end of the 17th, beginning of the 18th century
In the shelter of two old trees, on the banks of a river with grassy, flowery banks, a couple seems to be checking the bird traps they have set up. Indeed, the man puts a bird in the cage that his companion is holding in her hands. An empty cage appears hanging from a dead branch. Bats and a church can be seen emerging from the greenery. A border with a figurative moulded frame, with flowers, acanthus leaves and pearls. (Posterior side borders)
