Pair of fine flat earthenware vases decorated with a rearing lion decorating three-lobed storerooms inscribed in a frame of stylised tulips on a brown background, the rim hemmed with a striated and openwork gallery presents a frieze of turquoise acanthus leaves scrolled on an aubergine background. They rest on a bronze frame with sinuous openwork decoration ending in four legs.
